Guests are required to check in at the Dhangarhi Gate and complete entry formalities. The stay includes two jeep safaris — one in the evening after arrival and another early in the morning before checkout. Safari timings vary seasonally, generally around sunrise and sunset.
Dhikala offers government-managed Forest Rest Houses (FRH) with basic amenities like clean rooms, attached bathrooms, and dining facilities. Electricity is limited, and mobile network coverage is minimal — making it a true jungle experience away from modern distractions.
Dhikala is famous for tiger sightings, herds of elephants, wild boars, and numerous deer species. You can also spot crocodiles near Ramganga River and a wide variety of birds. The watchtower near Dhikala FRH offers breathtaking panoramic views of the grasslands and river.

Yes, Dhikala Night Stay is completely safe. The area is managed by forest officials, and guards are present round-the-clock to ensure the safety of all guests staying inside the premises.
You can book Dhikala Night Stay online through authorized booking portals or registered travel agencies. It is recommended to book at least 45–60 days in advance, as the number of rooms is limited.
The Dhikala Rest House offers clean rooms, attached bathrooms, solar lighting, and a canteen. However, since it’s a forest accommodation, luxury facilities like TV, Wi-Fi, and air-conditioning are not available — maintaining the true essence of a jungle stay.
